Coming up on 2 years...

Well been a bit since I was last here... took some time myself and read through things and what it was like during that time.. whew!

So had my most recent follow up last week and everything was negative. Moving to 6 months between follow ups now, and then next year, we'll look at were things go from there. Health wise, the cold still zaps me and after talking with Dr. Heyer, that is a common side effect and for some it never goes away and you just learn to deal with it over the years. Definitely know I listen to my body more than I did before I went through this. The other thing that I've noticed is that when I get dehydrated the ringing in my ear is more noticeable.. otherwise it's just a faint background noise that I've learned to live with.

Life continues to move on a fast pace with Shannon getting ready to start High School in the Fall, Ashley moves to 6th grade and they're both still playing softball. Actually doing well and both made the summer All Star teams at their age groups and are going to have us running around to tournaments and games this summer before we take another trip back to Australia for a 3 week family vacation.
